I'm in Southeastern Connecticut along the coast and we got about 6 to 7 in of snow with wind gusts up to 40 miles an hour which makes for huge snow drifts, No cars are on the road because of a travel ban , even the Dunkin' donuts are closed.

Is it over yet? I found a weather system map showing the low pressure center off the Connecticut coast. This post was edited by Element 99 at January 29, 2022 2:01 PM MST

It's very cold (18 degrees, feels like -10) and windy here in NYC and, as far as I can tell, it's still snowing.  Forecast is for 8-12 inches of snow and I'm sure we're pretty close to that.  It's hard to tell because of the wind causing drifts - in some places it looks like a dusting, and in others it appears to be 2'.

It's a good thing you don't have to shovel it.

Very true.  That is one of the advantages of not owning your own home unless it's in a development that takes care of those things.
