I don't think it takes particular bravery to NOT carry a loaded gun.
Crime rates in the United States are the lowest they've been in decades, and crime is heavily concentrated in the "bad neighborhoods" most people know about in their own locales.
I'd say it's simply wise to not carry a lethal instrument that's something like 30 times more likely to be used in a suicide, accidental shooting, or criminal offense than to be used in self-defense.
Mahalo for your reply. I disagree emphatically. I think Tuesday, November 8, election day will be a blood bath OS. I hope I'm wrong. But I don't th ink I will be. What say you and why?
