Robots programmed to take in all the facts and come up with the logical verdict? Heck, I don't know, lol.
That would be a he ** uva lot better than the so-called "justice" system we have now. All a person has to do is say "I feared for my life" and he can murder an unarmed man (black preferred) and walk. It's disgusting. In my opinion. Thank you for your reply BSurf! :)
Touche m'dear. I know. How do we trust the Programmers? And there it sits. Trust. In whom do we trust and for how long? AARRGGHH! :( Thank you for your reply Baba. I dunno if there will ever be a solution. :(
We do not need juries made up of non-humans. Better we have some crooks get off then robot juries deciding whatever they are told by the programmer.
The alternative would be a judge.
That said, if the accused is willing to take the chance with a jury, that's their choice.
Touche. Thank you for your reply JD.
Thank you for your reply FNR! :)
I like BahamaSurfdog and Baba's suggestion of using robots. They have no human emotions to make their judgement biased, and they operate from total logic. How could they be faulted?
You would have to trust the Programmer to be absolutely fair in the choices given the robots. Robots can't program themselves you know. Thank you for your reply Andy! :)
Most welcome :)
