  • Did you know that fascism the word comes from the Latin fascii ... Which were bundles of rods that Roman magistrates ( I think)  used to carry to denote their authority?

  • Not completely accurate.  Fascism can even arise and flourish with  true democracy.   Totalitarian democracy.  Tyranny on the minority by the will of majority.
