Not every decision to abort a pregnancy is a selfish one.  If a prospective mother feels she is not capable of giving a child a good life, the care that child needs, has no support system to help her raise a child, then the decision is not made in the best interests of the mother.  There are many non-selfish reasons for a woman not to bear that child.  Yes, all the things you mention are things that child will never experience.  Conversely, what about the unwanted child who is physically and mentally abused and is murdered at a tender age?  All that child will ever know is pain and I can't help but think that it would have been better off never having been born.

One word to solve everything you mentioned.
    Adoption.
Many couples wish they could conceive to offer every feeling I mentioned and more,

Every American has the right to an opinion on any subject.

Abortion is not just about a pregnant Mother.  We know the child is  not just a lump a cells. There is a heart beating, there is brain functioning,  arms and legs.

Saying only a person who is or has been pregnant can have an opinion is like saying , because I do not drive, I cannot have an opinion about drunk driving  laws. Or in the 1700s the only ones who could have an opinion on slavery were the slave owners, slave traders and the slaves themselves.

Agreed. Abortion is not just about pregnant Mothers. It's more about pregnamt "girls gone wild', realizing they've had an oppsie moment with that guy the night before and now want healthcard to abort the fedus, at no out-of-pocket fees, at the expense of tax payers and other contributers to the healthcare system.

Most "Mothers" make smarter disissions on having more children from self respect. This post was edited by antibiotic at May 9, 2022 6:13 AM MDT

US does not pay for abortions with tax dollars.
Abortion is about a living human being who is killed in the process.  Most pregnancies in the US are unplanned even in married couples....it is not all just "girls gone wild."

You're right, it's not only about girls gone wild.
Have you seen protesters on the news with signs reading, "Abortion is Healthcare"? This post was edited by antibiotic at May 9, 2022 11:35 AM MDT

Yes. They are wrong abortion is NOT healthcare.  Even in the case, of the Mother's life being in real jeopardy.   We have the medical ability to stop the pregnancy without the intent to end the unborn baby's life. We can remove the baby and give the medical care he/she needs to have a chance at life. And still give the Mother whatever medical treatment she is needing that is preventing her from carrying to full term.

It is a matter of treating BOTH of the bodies involved with the intent of saving BOTH people.
