Have the voters in North Carolina finally come to their senses?

"Cawthorn, 26, lost his bid for reelection Tuesday, falling to state Sen. Chuck Edwards in the GOP primary in the 11th Congressional District. Seven challengers had stepped up to challenge Cawthorn in this deeply red district. He called Edwards to concede Tuesday night."

"In recent weeks, Cawthorn faced an onslaught of unflattering opposition research and questions about his mental stability. Republican leaders in the state ― including Sen. Thom Tillis, who backed Edwards ― worked mightily to unseat him.

    I stand corrected.  The article I read was poorly written and I got the impression Edwards was a Democrat.

    In any event, Cawthorn is out.  Yes, he did himself in.  Must have been the photos in ladies' lingerie.

    Maybe it wasn't the lingerie photos that did him in maybe it was the Trump endorsement. Cheers!

    Nope. Trump did not even mention him until election day.  If he would have gave a full on endorsement earlier maybe it would have saved him.  
    Madison also started to run in a different district and then came back....that annoys people as well.
