    Once when I was about 16, a friend of mine and I were at the mall shopping and as we were leaving, she showed me that she'd shoplifted several items. I was quite angry, pointing out that she could have gotten me into trouble, not just herself. I think I mentioned that thieves make prices higher for everyone else, too. 

    Or, it could have been arguing with my mom about my Valley Girl Halloween costume. She thought it looked very similar to a 'lady of the evening' costume.

    All I can say for sure is that it was between and mother and me.  I didn't even want to wear really short skirts or shortshorts but my mother just thought anything more than an inch or two above the knee was scandalous.
