Do you smell or can you spell?

Generally speaking, do you smell better than you can spell, or do you know how to spell better than you smell?  Well?  Tell, tell!

    Back in the day my spelling was terrific, now I find myself slipping a little.  
    Getting older is not for the faint of heart, loosing life long abilities is not fun.
