When you were a youngster, which one of your relatives told the funniest stories, either true ones or made-up?

In my case, I think my grandmother on my mother’s side, but with her, it was more the way she told stories and imitated people’s voices and mannerisms that made everything so funny.  She could be quite dramatic about it sometimes.

I cannot recall any relatives telling funny stories when I was a youngster.

My uncle!  None of my relatives really had a sense of humor.  Except my uncle, that is. My uncle had a witty sense of humor.  So when he told stories he really "told" stories.  And when he told them, he did it in a complete deadpan manner (just like Bob Newhart).

Dad. His version of the three little pigs was hilarious. He also invented a complete fantasy world - the "woogs and toogies", their job included hoisting the sun up in the morning, hauling it back down at night and polishing the moon, complete with topical references.

The wolf was asthmatic, so instead of blowing the houses down, he used dynamite to blow them UP - complete with the wheezing and falling over when attempting to huff and puff.

I'd say funniest goes to my mom's brother.
