lol A Google reverse image search says that's a weapon. I wanted to call it a wrench. I feel like that's the wrong word for it though. I know, shame on me. I do have one,  but I'm clearly more of a duct tape kind of gal. 

 That "thing" has been replaced by a wrench design produced by Crescent Tool and copied by every tool maker in the world.
