Sometimes we dislike certain foods because we’ve tasted them. What is a food you’ve never tasted and you’re sure you do not want to taste?

Footnote: for clarification, I have tasted avocados, guacamole, mayonnaise, and Vegemite. (Grrrrrrr.)

You do realise that your guts are full of those, right? They're essential to digestion.

I do, but those little buggers are not mine and I don't need them.

If you are taking antibiotics it is important to replace them with Yogurt or Acidophilus in pill form. Antibiotics can kill the good and the bad bacteria if you are on them for a while.  Been there done that.  It took 3 months to get my system back running normally again.

I think it is good.  Is it the consistency that turns you off?

Abalone. Given that I'm violently allergic to mollusks of all descriptions, giving it the consistency of shoe leather (as opposed to snot) would not improve it. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at January 23, 2023 9:06 AM MST

  • Capibara

The capibara is a South American rodent. Capibara hunting is legal and people eat the meat. It's said that it tastes like beef, but it makes me sick to think about eating one.

Alligator is quite good. I could give you some and tell you it was chicken and you would like it.
