How do/would you react to another's road rage?

Apologise even if you're not at fault,  so you can move on;
Fight back, if you know you're in the right;
Ignore the incident and show zero reaction (blank face)

    having nothing to do with me?
    ignore completely
    if I am at fault?
    Be responsible
    be respectful
    but play it by ear.

    Getting into a skirmish on the road is something I wouldn't do.  I yield to rude drivers always.  I could not care less if someone is behind or in front of me or makes the light while it's green.  There is interesting psychology behind people's anger and rage about and when driving.  I told my kids to always assume the other driver is crazy so do not encourage hand gestures or screaming out windows.  Just drive.  Call  911 if someone  scares you.   We have state troopers aplenty.  This post was edited by Thriftymaid at November 8, 2016 6:34 PM MST

    What I've done in the past is quite different from what I do now.  I'd take more chances then and I wasn't afraid to flip someone off.  I haven't encountered anyone with road rage in a very long time, but I wouldn't acknowledge them and continue driving.  If whatever they were doing was endangering lives, I would call 911.  I hate it when someone tailgates me though and often times I'll slow down just slightly to let them know they're a bit too close.  But when I have the opportunity to move over, I'll let them by.  People can be real idiots but you never know which of those idiots has a gun with them.

    Road Rage implies out of control anger.  I am not going to contribute to pissing off some idiot who may have a gun.   I don't care what he thinks anyway.  So, I would ignore him as much as possible.

    Oh no. That is one job I would never even attempt to apply for. I am an okay driver, but Directions?  Forget about that.

    I would never apply for that job either. That's almost like picking up a hitchhiker.

    I'm even worth with directions, I'd bet.  If I didn't have my GPS, the letters could also mean Get Potentially Stranded or even worse Gone, Probably Swallowed.

    Problem, ONLY if they have cars or trucks with gigantic heat lamps for headlights.  Those men.  The ones who start buying a large truck the minute they get their first license so they can mow the rest of us down. Those guys.  But I know a few women just as insane.  The one I am thinking about is my best friend.  GET HER OFF THE ROAD FOR EVER.  (no, don't kill her or anyone though)

    lol

    While they're just boys being boys, we WOMEN shall inherit the earth!

    There just might be another explanation for why boys/men go for them big beefy trucks.  The bigger the truck, the bigger their..

    I want to say men are the more aggressive drivers but then I think of my dear friend and that argument falls by the wayside.  She is the worst ever.

    When my kid was younger, I would dread riding with her.  To say she was a bad driver was putting it mildly.  Most of the time I'd just close my eyes and hope for the best. And even with a history of car sickness,  I never fought for the front seat.  I preferred not having any advanced warning of my impending death.

    Dear Grammarian:

    Isn't it understood in the language of grammar that we always concede to the MAN in this voice?  The 3rd person?  He, she, it, they or whatnot?  If we don't know who it is?  It is in the masculine voice, as I recall.  Am I right?
