      It’s just a tongue-in-cheek post, Professor, a play on words, a pun, the job title doesn’t really exist. It’s called vice principal here too, and everywhere else in the US as far as I know. You took it too seriously.

    Yes.  I've never heard of a secondary principal, myself.  Our schools have a principal and at least one assistant principal.

    (Normal practice in the English language - not only in the USA - to prefix the second-in-command, as it were, with "Vice". So Vice Principal.)
