It may look like Musk is sinking, however I don't believe it. He didn't get to where he is by making stupid business decisions. I believe in his abilities.
Not that great. Based on fundamentals like profit and price/earnings ratio, Apple, Google, and Microsoft are much better investments, just to name a few.
I looked up the prices today and discovered I only have enough money to purchase 3 Apple stocks or 2 Microsoft stocks. Not really enough to make it worth my while.
The dollar price per share is irrelevant. Three shares of Apple at $150 is worth the same $450 as 30 shares of another stock at $15. Price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio is the real measure of price, the lower the better. Apple might be selling at $150 and P/E of 30 (30 times earnings) and be a much better buy than another stock selling at $150 and P/E of 90. Please don't invest without understanding things like this, or you might throw your money away.
Despite Musk's apparent Midas touch in the past, I think he may have overreached this time. His other businesses had obvious technical value. Social media are fickle platforms and I don't think Elon understands people.
