When was the last time you watched the news?

Oh my! That this question should pop up on top this AM! I'm in shock. This morning I discovered that Robin Meade is gone. I tuned in to HLN to see that it had been taken over by regular CNN. Robin Meade was the only national reporter that I watched. Name me one other news reporter that starts with, "Good Morning, Sunshine"!

I looked around for info and the word was that CNN is losing money fast and Robin Meade was very expensive. Happy trails to you Robin.

Every night at 6:00

Three hours ago, roughly.

And heard not watched, as I've no television.

Seen though, statically - local newspaper that does also carry a few items of international news via the Press Association.

I don't remember, it's been a very long time. 

Probably around the time Walter Cronkite retired and CNN debuted. I have watched so-called news programs since then, but what passes for news these days is mostly sensationalism.
