Are you forgetting people such as Marion Barry?
:(
Actually, it absolutely is relevant to the conversation because you’re focusing only on the word “Congress”. The overall post itself is about jobs, about working, about professions, not mere about one narrow aspect of it. Barry’s case presents one of many examples that refute your claim. Nice attempt at a dodge; it didn’t work.
“Which often precludes entry.”
You and I are both stubborn. And of course I read the entire thread, I’ve read every single post associated with this thread, and I know how to evaluate what I have read. Of course you brought up Congress as a subtopic, fine, and of course it does not dismiss the fact that the overall conversation is about jobs in general. You’re merely trying to save your own face when you’ve been proven wrong on some points that you try to bring up, not only proven wrong by me, but also by ThriftyMaid.
You really don’t have a history or a display of traits o here that indicate you’ll ever admit when you’re wrong about ANYTHING, that’s obvious and apparent. For that reason, I would not even expect you to say that you understand you’re in the wrong. At the same time, it doesn’t mean I’m just going to let you off the hook either.
Good point, I stand corrected on that point, you are right and I was wrong; you did not bring up Congress.
We’re both stubborn, you and I, that is a longstanding truth that has not diminished in any way.
