I live on part of the so-called "Jurassic Coast", of Southern England; a Geological World Heritage Site for its unbroken succession of rocks younging West to East up through the entire Jurassic sequence and into the Cretaceous.
The name is a bit misleading because it is the rocks that are of Jurassic Age. The coast that exposes them, is geologically very young.
As well as the scientific interest it is also very beautiful, attracting many tourists generally as well as visiting geologists.
