Having issues with P.M and Chat with the answerMug, how to fix that?

Nanoose & Element 99, I clicked in the 'Chat' shown on bottom right, then I typed in & entered in the Chat message, & even clicked on your Element 99 avatar in it just after I typed in the Chat, then I still didn't see any further message from either of You since then-even after about a day later from that too.
How else should I get more responses from the 'Chat', & from 'P.M.', only if I find who else would like to get more Personal Messages to theirs?

    You can only chat with people who are friends.  Are they your friends?

    Oh, I probably did clicked-in Element 99 as my Friend now, but then I did went in Chat & still didn't get anything from Element 99 as I was typing to that from the Chat.

    Okay, I will send you the 2 math pages 'that I just found', to you in P.M, but the much finer printed direction/math definition-in little/tiny letters is blotted out, see if you think you can still read that when I send that to you.
