What have you accomplished today? Can be something small or HUGE!

I saved 286 people from losing employment today, I’m so happy that :) HUGE!!

I am not allowed to talk about my job on social media but I’m so happy and bursting with joy about how today went and I need to document it somewhere online Cos I have an addiction…  YAY!! Also, I’m not bragging, I’m just so very happy right now that I need to be able to see this some day when I’m feeling down.

Congratulation!! I’m sending out MAJOR AWARDS to everyone who answers this because I think we deserve it! I might forget how to send gifts though but it’s the thought that counts… it’s really not the thought that counts so I’ll Suss it. I AM TOO HAPPY TODAY SO DON’’T make me angry and suss at me my grammar, :)

My firm used to pay for my renewals, but now that I'm retired, I have no need to renew my license and it expired on may 23rd.

I make a bit of money with it at home by advertising on Google and Yelp. You would be surprised how hard it is for people to find notaries.

Well worth paying $60 to renew for four years.

When someone contacts you to notarize something, do you go to them or do they come to you, or is it done on line these days?

I have them come to my house. Being a mobile notary isn’t worth my time.

Thanks, I was picturing notarizing over the computer, like an "electronic signature", something I don't understand. An electronic signature does not replace an authentic signature any more than a rubber stamp signature does. However, I believe that somewhere in the future, notarizing a document will be done electronically. It will happen as soon as those of us who understand the purpose of an actual signature are gone. I was a notary for my company back in the day.

New York State has introduced something called an electronic notary license. I am going to explore it.

That must be new.  NYS permitted e-notarizations during Covid, but did away with it a while back.

Being a woman who lives alone, I wouldn't want strangers coming to my apartment and I certainly am not traveling to wherever they are.

Wait, I’m not considered a stranger any more, right? I wouldn’t want to find out at the last minute that I’m denied entry. I get enough of that in Minneapolis. Grrrrrrr.

Thank you! I knew your love would last throughout all difficulties. (As for listening to Spunky, you know you’re the only one who has my ear.)

Not so in my neighborhood. I have given business cards to local bank branches for notary referrals.
