Would you keep a dolphin as a pet if you had a big enough pool in your garden to keep it in?

Only for a limited time which would be wonderful and the pool was "big enough" to make him happy.  A dolphin belongs in its natural habitat.  I've always wanted to interact with a dolphin, close up and personal.  I know the dolphin and I would get along great and be
    good friends.

"A dolphin belongs in its natural habitat"

That's a good enough reason to not keep one.

Dolphins should never be taken from their pod or their natural habitat.

No, that would be an abuse.  Dolphins belong with their pod in the ocean.

They are right out there in the Gulf.  Go swim with them and come home.  Free and no maintenance required.
