The Drifters were around before my time so I don't know which songs were hits in the UK or US. My bf (who is older than me) likes them and we like to listen to them together.
My dear feline housemate puts up with any music I play - and there is pretty much constant music . :)
Drifters are always welcome - - and The Mamas and the Papas and Howard Jones and Johnny Nash and The Pointer Sisters and countless original movie scores and Simple Minds and The Police and The Staple Singers and "Percy Faith and his Orchestra" and Shriekback and Enya and Laurie Anderson and "Florence and The Machine" and Bobbie Gentry and Christina Perri and The Fray amd R.E.M. and . . .

I met and talked with all four of them in their dressing room after one of their concerts. Their music helped me tremendously as a youngster and, as an adult, their music remains a part of my soul. And their music remains completely fresh for me every time I listen. :)
And I'm a Cat Guy for sure. :)
