I would imagine it has, but the farmer's market nearest to me is in a place where there's absolutely no parking, the street is clogged with double-parkers and a City bus route and I'll be darned if I'm going to take the bus back and forth with bags of food. Sux being a New Yorker. Our farmer's market is five minutes away with plenty of parking.

There are probably farmer's markets out on Long Island, but I'm not sure where and they aren't where I usually shop.

We have it pretty much all year.  Many crops can have two seasons here.  The cherries are imported and I have really outdone myself this year.  I'm embarrassed how many I eaten.
