Yet another conspiracy theory confirmed. This time by the Mayo Clinic.

Why did it take to long to confirm?  Same as most things....follow the money.

dit: This one got me. It is fake news. Not a recent change, it has been on the site since May 2020.  (There was a change in Sept 2023...but it is not this one)

The FDA and NIH discontinued trials of hydroxychloroquine back in 2020, so this is nothing new.

As usual, it's hard to tell what she's trying to prove. The link just says that hydroxychloroquine should only be be used in hospitals and clinical trials for covid patients. The emergency use authorization lasted from March to June 2020, but I believe clinical trials are ongoing and finding some rather serious side effects and not much effectiveness against covid the same as in 2020. I really don't care enough to figure what conspiracy theory this is supposed to confirm. Trump pushed for this drug so I cant figure out what following the money has to do with it.

Follow the money=  Big Pharma could not have made their millions off the clot shot if there was a known treatment.  Cannot get emergency authorization if there is a treatment.  This post was edited by my2cents at September 25, 2023 1:36 PM MDT

Have you ever checked anything out before you post?

This link explains what you mistakenly believe.

    https://www.techarp.com/science/mayo-hydroxychloroquine-covid/#:~:text=Truth%20%3A%20Mayo%20Clinic%20Did%20Not,here%20are%20the%20reasons%20why%E2%80%A6

And this link from the Mayo Clinic explains the drugs they use to treat Covid. If you scroll all the way to the bottom, you will see that they believe hydroxychloroquine is ineffective and may cause heart problems.

    https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/coronavirus/expert-answers/coronavirus-drugs/faq-20485627

So, if you get Covid because you won't take the vaccine because it's too dangerous,  you can just treat it with hydroxychloroquine. This post was edited by Jane S at September 25, 2023 10:23 PM MDT

Mayo clinic has it listed NOW as a treatment.   I am not talking about a trials....this is on their website as a treatment for Covid19.  This is new...they all denied it was a viable treatment until recently.

Another post confirmed as irrelevant old news, eg fake news.

Kind of like the sour grapes whining of the guy who lost the election that year but can’t deal with reality.

This is not old....to most people. It is old news to me. But this was not an accepted treatment until very recently.  Doc lost their jobs for this view.

If you can't believe Peter Navarro, who can you believe?

The Mayo Clinic has probably been made aware that by failing to update that page since June 2020, Peter Navarro has started another conspiracy theory. I have trouble with the concept that the use of hydroxychloroquine is apparently supposed to be decided by the Mayo Clinic.  Here's the link I posted above that debunks the claim.

I saw that.  There have been numerous articles stating that hydroxychloroquine should not be used for Covid, but when you are looking to "prove" a point, you only cite the articles that support your theory. This post was edited by Spunky at September 26, 2023 7:54 AM MDT

Page was updated sometime In Sept 2023....before I posted this question. This is why I thought the update was accurate. But I don't know what they changed then.  The entire page is changed now. (Sept 26th)

Really? It looked like June 2020 to me. But if you say so, I  can't prove otherwise at this point.

Your fact checker claimed last change to the page was 2020.  But the website itself said Sept 1, 2023. (Not sure how you saw  June 2020)

I can prove otherwise....link to way back machine snapshot of the mayo clinic page from Sept 23 2023 says it was updated Sept 1, 2023.

Congratulations, my2cents!  You made them change their website!  See, Stu?  This tiny website with fewer than 40 people apparently can make a difference, lol.
