A world traveler visits these places in order:

The first place he visits is Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.

The second place he visits is Pingdu, Qingdao Prefecture, Shandong Province, China.

The third place he visits is Boynton Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, USA.

The fourth place he visits is Dolok Batu Nanggar, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra, Indonesia.

The fifth place he visits is Mirpur District, Azad Kashmir Region, Pakistan.

The sixth place he visits is Degema Local Government Area, Rivers, Nigeria.

Fill in the blank; the seventh place he visits is ____ __ _____ _________, __________, ______ .  (I need at least the name of the city.)

I think people will find this either way too hard or way too easy with no in-between.

    No.  It’s a sequence question but only with places instead of numbers, but looking at the numbers might help you out with this one.

    If it’s a city you’ve heard of, you most likely got this wrong before you even started.  The city my world traveler visits next is only the seventh largest city by population in its state.

    No, but I’ll give you a clue.  Part of the name of the city he visits next is also the name of a city in Florida, but only it’s in its country’s own language instead of English.  Like the similarly named city in Florida, it’s also on the Atlantic coast.

    India: largest country
    Uttar Pradesh: largest state in India
    Lucknow Division: largest division in Uttar Pradesh
    Lucknow District: largest district in Lucknow Division
    Lucknow: largest city in Lucknow District

    China: 2nd largest country
    Shandong: 2nd largest province in China
    Qingdao: 2nd largest prefecture in Shandong
    Pingdu is both a city and a county.  While Pingdu is the largest city in Qingdao, it’s only the second largest county in the prefecture so I used its place as a county.

    United States: 3rd largest country
    Florida: 3rd largest state in the US
    Palm Beach County: 3rd largest county in Florida
    Boynton Beach: 3rd largest city in Palm Beach County

    Indonesia: 4th largest country
    North Sumatra: 4th largest province in Indonesia
    Simalungun Regency: 4th largest regency in North Sumatra
    Dolok Batu Nanggar: 4th largest city in Simalungun Regency

    Pakistan: 5th largest country
    Azad Kashmir: 5th largest first-level civil division in Pakistan
    Mirpur: 5th largest district in Azad Kashmir
    I didn’t find the populations of the towns and cities in Mirpur District so I stopped there.

    Nigeria: 6th largest country
    Rivers: 6th largest state in Nigeria
    Degema: 6th largest LGA in Rivers
    I didn’t find the populations of the towns and cities in Degema LGA so I stopped there.

    Brazil: 7th largest country
    Pernambuco: 7th largest state in Brazil
    Cabo de Santo Agostinho: 7th largest city in Pernambuco

    I couldn't give you the time, because I was doing other things in between. Longer than I'd like, but everything clicked when looking only at the countries.

    If what you're asking is: did I start off on the wrong track, then - yes, multiple!
