Do you keep physical cash on hand in case of an emergency?
If a natural disaster, cyber attack, or sustained power outage prevented ATM's and credit card readers from functioning, how long would you be able to buy necessities (assuming they are available)?
I own and operate 2 retail stores. I have to keep a supply of cash to keep the register stocked to Gove change back to customers.
I also keep cash as home to help me budget for winter slow season. I put some much in an envelope for each week during the off season to pay for food/gas etc. When the envelope ot empty so is my spending for the week.
