Nothing is as simple as it seems. Even the Trump Administration worked to provide humanitarian aid to to the Iranian people. Hammas is well-funded without these funds and will attack regardless. Yesterday, the government imposed another round of sanctions on those people and entities that are channeling funds to Hammas. I don't see that there is a perfect choice in this situation.
Hamas has got to go and not be allowed back in. They have no interest in helping the people. You cannot allow a group who digs up brand new water pipe system to make rockets to have control of any area.
Israel. If the world does not want Israel to do it then the UN should come in and do it. However, after Oct 7, Israel has stated they are removing all of Hamas. We will have to see how it works out.
