Of the traditional Thanksgiving fixin's, which do you not like?

I don't like turkey, candied sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, pie or dinner rolls. They will all be served Thursday.

It depends on what dishes one classifies as "traditional fixings" (not many other people would agree with what "we" consider traditional Thanksgiving dishes).  99% of what my sister serves I don't like (potatoes, casseroles, stuffing, pies, etc.).  I bring 2 dishes (homemade rolls and macaroni salad) and that's all I eat.

I guess traditional means whatever was there last year. I don't eat very much.

I prefer the sides to the turkey.  I love mashed or roasted potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce (canned or homemade), sting bean casserole, sweet potatoes (or yams).  You can bet I didn't get to be this size from being a picky eater!

    Pecan pie.

I've only had one pumpkin pie I liked when I lived in Arizona, it was delicious.  Not really fond of store bought pie of any kind.

Sweet potato casserole. I love plain sweet potatoes, but putting sugar and or marshmallows on them is an abomination.

I like them every way.  Mashed, fries, baked and the casserole.  But I did not like them until I was in my mid 20s.

I agree. I don't know why people do that. My stepdaughter is making that.

I don't really care for turkey other than a slice of breast on a sandwich or turkey salad made with only white meat.  I do not touch sweet potatoes, pumpkin, cranberry anything, stuffing if made with bread, or gravy with boiled eggs in it (this gags me to think of it).  We have many times had a pineapple casserole on the TG table.  I will never taste hot pineapple with cheese.  It is just not right.  I do love a pineapple upside down cake though and we've also had those at TG.  Everyone other than me looks forward to some kind of orange pie and pecan pie for dessert.  I go for the peach cobbler and/or ice box pie (either lemon or lime).

I don't think I have heard of gravy with boiled eggs in it. That does not sound good at all.

It really is a thing....a nasty thing.  Maybe a southern thing.

I have heard of people making gravy with the giblets but did not know about the eggs in it.   It looks nasty too.
