A romantic evening with my BFF, first a walk on the beach, perhaps sit for a while and make out; at home: a warm fire burning in the fireplace, apple cider with floating oranges and cinnamon sticks, a beautiful view from the window, lights on the land across the bay reflect gently on the water, just the two of us holding hands, enjoying being together, and beginning the New Year with fireworks and a bang as we watch the ball drop in New York, on TV. Music, almost forgot the music, romantic, mixture of different styles.

We will, I hope, someday. : ) Right now I'm trying to stay awake until 12, fighting a muscle relaxant the doctor prescribed, have had enough caffeine to wake up an elephant. Hope I don't wake up at 2 am and start cleaning the house. lol At least I don't live where I used to or I'd be sleeping on the floor to hopefully not get shot by a stray bullet. Yes I do have a recording of New Year's eve and New Year's night from my previous address, somewhere. Sounded like a war zone for a couple of hours, literally.

Actually I was hoping my friend would come on AM and we could enjoy the changing of years together even though we are in different places. Oh well, perhaps next year.
