And yet, you probably have slept on many a hotel mattress and it didn't kill you.

Grrrrr, you’re not supposed to be teaming up with Jane S unless it’s to put me closer to her! All Anti-Randy banter is strictly prohibited!

We are allies now and she has so much wisdom.  She's been able to handle you, that's for sure.  Jane is a strong woman, I admire that.

I don’t/cannot hear you when you’re like this. Bring me actionable information on how I can close in on my query and we might be able to resume normal interaction. Grr.

I like to believe that the potent mixture of various lubricants and exotic massage oils have helped me to build up resistance to bacteria.

I did back in my student days. Slept on it for about 8 years.

Good grief!!!!  No way....knowing them would not matter.  I hate having to stay in hotels too; I take my own sheets and towels if car trip, which almost always is these days.

Asking for a clean bedspread is always a good idea.  Take a black light with you so you know what to touch and what to leave alone.

The bedspread goes on the closet floor as soon as I arrive.  There is complete wiping down the bath room and all surfaces in the bedroom with disinfectant wipes.  I put my sheets on top of whatever is already there.  If it is cold I probably have a blanket for us too. If not I go to the office and ask for a freshly laundered one.  I never use the folded blanket in the closet.  I have witnessed maids taking those off of a bed, folding, and putting back in the closet. Then I connect my little coffee maker that I travel with.  I'm tell you, I hate hotels.  I'm still working on us getting a pull behind travel trailer.  Sometimes I say I don't want to go somewhere simply because I'm not up for the hotel issue.   He says a trailer would require buying a new truck.  My answer:  Do it if you want me to travel with  you.       So if I get you a truck and a travel trailer, you’ll let me be sort of a “stowaway” in the back of it and drive me into Minneapolis? (Shhhhhhh. She might be listening.)

Jane S? The woman is a sweetheart, a lamb, a gentle dove, a saint! Butter doesn’t even melt in her mouth, that’s how cool she is!  She and I go waaaaaaay back, she’s had a thing for me lo these many years. I can handle Jane, you just sneak me into the city past all of those officers who enforce restraining orders, I’ll charm her and let you off the hook. I’ve done it plenty of times before, she’s like soft putty in my capable hands  .

Baby! It’s Randy! Don’t you recognize me? Why all the heavy artillery all of a sudden? Now you just come right over here and give your Ran-Man a warm hug and a hot kiss, Sweeti-Kins! (Smooch, smooch.)

Do you inspect for bedbugs? That's what I worry about.

Yes but I've never found even one.  I open our bags when we get home too...leave them on the porch or deck for about a day.
