Shouldn't all lawyers be required to pass the bar exam? Washington Supreme Court does not agree.

    There are some real drawbacks to that, a few pluses but not many, especially for the client. Knowing the law is one thing, how to apply it is another, taking the bar assures one knows how to apply it.
