Do you need your coffee?

Need my "Michigan Cherry coffee,"  plenty of cream and sugar, it's like eating ice cream, yummy.  Problem is, too much is not a good thing I've discovered.  Even decaf is a diuretic, has caused low sodium for me, I've cut back to one pot a day, sure miss drinking it all day for sure.

Remember that killer guy in The Godfather drinking black coffee saying coffee keeps him normal. Ordinary coffee amounts to me to brew compared with others is pour it all in and clean up mistake later. This post was edited by CosmicWunderkind at March 29, 2024 8:28 PM MDT

Never liked the taste of coffee until a friend made me a cup with coffee mate and sugar, the perfect amounts. Still remember that first cup, OMG what a difference, been hooked ever since.  Blood pressure has kept me from drinking the real deal.  Now that I've lost weight my BP has returned to almost normal without medication.  Purchased a can of half and half caffeine coffee, hope to start off slow, need that little boost in the morning. Drinking decaf at this time.

I do not like the taste.  I am a morning person, always have been.

I do not fault or care if anyone else drinks it.

I cannot be held responsible for any homicides or other atrocities I may commit before my second cup of lethally strong coffee, the consistency of bitumen. How strong, I hear you say? I want it to stand up and fight me. If the spoon stands up, it's too weak. If it starts to dissolve, that's better, but when that spoon jumps out of the mug and runs away shrieking in mortal agony, it's PERFECT.

I quit smoking. I got off the opioids. I enjoy a beer but can live without it. Do NOT take my coffee away. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at March 29, 2024 10:43 AM MDT

I have a cup first thing in the morning, then have breakfast and then my second cup.  That's usually all the coffee I drink.
