    A quick google suggests not. Or, rather, she didn't win the competition most of us are thinking, but one that judges "formal wear, personal introduction, interviews and community service."

    This was the National American Miss pageant,  which is different from typical pageants. Apparently,  its main criteria is character and achievement.

    She is a lovely girl who is a student at Auburn (which we love in my orbit).  The pageant was held in the fine arts center of my alma mater, Samford University.  I don't watch pageants but the location and winner passed all of my tests.
