Per law professor Christopher Peterson Donald Trump could be impeached within weeks. How ironic would that be?

It has to do  with the fraud charges surrounding Trump University. Fraud and racketeering are serious crimes that legally rise to the level of impeachable acts. Of course the House of Representatives would have to start the ball rolling. Can you see it doing that? Maybe we should remove them and let we the people handle it. No Electoral College malarkey. Straight popular vote. To impeach or not impeach? That will be the question.  Delicious irony being served to one and all in The Twilight Zone! :(

President Pence. The big 'PP'.   Pence-O-Rama.  The Pence-Meister. Pence-A-Mundo.  Two cents for Pence. Pence for Defense. Depends what side of the Pence you are standing on.  Hey wait,  you don't impeach until the President is in office a while.

The exact same speculation was being tossed around in the event that Hillary Clinton had prevailed in the election; that she would face impeachment. (Wow, imagine how much fodder that would have provided you!  LOL.)

  • I don't think it's a good idea. It will be complete Bedlam if that happens.
For what it's worth I think he needs to be allowed to fail so the people can see the flaws.

The Electoral College won't go away, certainly not because of one person. You can't change the system just because you don't like the outcome.

And who is going to impeach President Trump? The Republican house.....I don't think so. And do you know who votes on impeachment? ...the House. This post was edited by my2cents at August 1, 2018 11:11 PM MDT

  • Hmmm.....  A lot of Republican establishment does not like him and might feel Pence is more in line with the traditional party.  Think about that.

But not liking him is not grounds for impeachment. This post was edited by Stu Spelling Bee at August 1, 2018 11:18 PM MDT

You said it in your comment about Republicans liking Pence better than Trump.
