What is the longest, continuous running business in the United States,

and what is the longest, continuous running, still in the family, business in the world?

Hint - They both manufacture the same product and both are still in business to this day.

I don't know what would be America's oldest surviving family business but England's oldest is a butcher's shop in the town of Bridport.

I can't recall the name as I don't live there, but I believe it was established in the 16C or thereabouts - maybe even earlier - so possibly a contender for the world's oldest.

Yuengling has been family owned since its inception in 1829. It's a brewery.
