Did you hear Trump say he wanted to be a whale psychiatrist on Joe Rogan's podcast?

"[Joe Rogan] raised the subject of wind farms, which he referred to as “pollution,” and the impact they’ve had on whale populations off the East Coast.

“They say that the wind drives ’em crazy. You know it’s a vibration because you have those things that 50-story building,” Trump said. “The wind is rushing. The things are blowing. It’s a vibration and it makes noise.”

“I wanna be a whale psychiatrist. It drives the whales fricking crazy. And something happens with them, but for whatever reason, they’re getting washed up onshore and you know, they’re ignored by these environmentalists. But they don’t talk about it.”

Is this really the person you want to lead this country?  I don't even think whale pods would like to be led by him.

    To be fair, there are some environmentalists who believe the sound of wind turbines does affect whales. However, studies have not found any correlation. They are not ignoring the issue as Trump claims. It's a big controversy. 

    All dead whales that wash ashore get autopsied, and most die from getting tangled in fishing equipment or being hit by a boat or ship. 

    Climate change is affecting the whales' food sources so they are traveling to areas where they have less protection. So, it's a dilemma. We don't think wind turbines hurt them, but it's possible. But we do know climate change hurts them and wind turbines can slow that down.

    Wind turbines do kill birds, but not nearly as many as are killed by domestic cats. That's why we should bring in Haitians to eat the cats and protect the birds. Skyscrapers also kill a lot of birds, but I've never heard Trump mention that.

    I have not listened yet. But if this is the only question about it today.  I would say Trump's interview was a success.

    A success if Trump is trying to lose the election. Rogan laughed at Trump’s failure to answer questions about proof of 2020 election fraud. And when Rogan asked Trump if he will ever provide proof of election fraud Trump’s answer was – “um”. The podcast also went into over time – which made Trump 3 hours late for a rally. By the time he got there a lot of supports had left and maybe some of them are ticked off so they won’t bother to vote. Cheers!
