Would you be surprised if someone didn't make sure their car was repaired before driving it?

Need facts.  If the car gets repaired, I pick it up and they tell me what they had to do.  That usually gets no proof but the receipt will prove you had the repairs done.  Can't really discuss without knowing some details about whatever you are talking about. Need context.  If you brought your car in to repair a flat tire, I would assume you would look to make sure it wasn't still flat when you picked it up.

No.  People are naturally trusting creatures.  Even though that trust is constantly broken, they still continue to trust.

I would not be surprised by much of what some people do.

Would depend on if someone told them it was fixed.
