    Yes , I noticed before the election it was dropping.  
    We are under $2.50 now.

    It is up and down on a daily basis. Right now around $3.00/gallon.

    The discounting cycles usually end right before a holiday. Petrol soars between Christmas and New Year, that's when people are travelling. Law of supply and demand, when supply is scarce or demand is high, or both, the price goes up. It's why petrol was cheap during the height of COVID - nobody was going anywhere.
