If you think he actually heard the joke, you are giving him too much credit. By the expression on his face, his mind is obviously elsewhere. Can you imagine how hard it would be for him to sit for a couple hours and listen to someone else getting all the attention? No, he's deciding between a Big Mac or Chicken McNuggets or maybe both.

Well it has been said that Melania is fluent in 9 languages. And maybe in one of those languages text is read upside down – sort of like how Chinese is read from right to left instead of left to right. Cheers!

Have you ever heard her speak anything other than English and Slovakian?  In what 7 other languages is she fluent?  I'd be willing to bet that those other languages are very similar to Slovakian and not French, Spanish, Portugese, etc.  In fact, considering that she has been and will be the First Lady, you would think she would take diction lessons.  By the way, Hebrew is read from right to left, but I doubt that's one of her fluent languages. :) This post was edited by Spunky at January 13, 2025 2:17 PM MST

I starting questioning the 7 language thing back when she was first lady and she created the Be Best program for youth. I think that was a fragmented title – should have been Be Your Best or Be The Best. Bet this term she won’t even bother to create a program. Cheers!

A spokesperson said she was going to reinvigorate that program.  She should start with her husband.

Maybe we will hear her speak those languages in the documentary Amazon is producing. For $40M, she should give us something we haven't already seen.

These types of statements demean women and perpetuate harmful gender biases, regardless of whether the subject is a public figure.

Her personal history is not ALLEGED.  It is a FACT that she posed nude and was in a lesbian porn video.  I can't help but wonder whether a similar comment about VP Harris would have been so moderated.

But, if you had called her a DEI hire who provided sexual favors in exchange for political appointments, maybe that would be OK. Those are comments the moderator made on more than one occasion about Kamala Harris. She also claimed that we can say anything about a public figure as long as it isn't sexist. I believe the comment you made about Melania was equally applicable to any gender.

But in any case,  no one is moderated for "dis/misinformation " here.     
Yes, I have been moderated for a comment about Harris.  And have not made any more of those type comments about her after JA explained it to me.
