I think we can give him the benefit of the doubt this time. If it happens again, after all the controversy, we will know what it means. And also give the benefit of the doubt to those who were triggered by what appeared to be a deeply disturbing gesture instead of assuming they are making false accusations. That is not how to unify a country.
