What is this, astronomy class?  Are we riding in a car or a spaceship?  Infinity is God, but that comment will irritate atheists. They think we worship this mythical 'God' creature, but we see 'God' as a supreme force that includes infinity.

No bh. It is simply Rosie G. I do what I have ALWAYS done. Ask the questions that occur to me as they occur to me in that order. My brain is flooded with questions of all kinds all the time. I don't edit them. I ask them. If people ignore them I do not care. I ask them because I have no choice. If I don't ask them they will badger the he** outta me. If I get a hit or two from someone who is interested in or knowledgeable about the subject matter I win! If I don't it doesn't matter. I ask. You answer or ignore. We're both happy. Now to answer your question why does it matter what the means of transportation is? You choose and then figure out how much fuel it would take to get there if there is a there there. I don't even know what infinity is and that's what I"m asking. You say only God is infinite so scientifically it is a fantasy? Is that your final answer m'dear? Also it should be mentioned if you don't already know. I have been a  quantum physics fan for decades,. I have tons of books on the subject all of which I have read. I have zero background  educationally. My curiosity and interest drive me. Did I answer your question? Now can you answer mine?  Does infinity exist outside of a religious concept or not?  If you are a science buff did you watch the Morgan Freeman series "Through the Wormhole" on the science channel awhile ago? It was phenomenal.  I have some of the books written by some of the physicists who appeared on that show. My favorite guy?  Michio Kaku! He is a real character! Not the character that Richard Feynman was though. He is my all-time favorite or was until he died.  Thank you for your reply bh! I appreciate that you're interested enough to show up.  I do!   :)

AH HA!  I knew you must be smarter than your questions might lead one to believe. I am also a fan of Feynman and Kaku. However, I never was able to grasp much from the 'Wormhole' show, probably because I tend to fall asleep. Infinity is like energy, it never is used up, but just changes form. It is always there and always will be, just like God. Ooooppss!!!  Can't use the 'G' word too loudly around here!

If you are in open space and nothing is in your way during your journey, you can travel forever on just enough fuel to accelerate you to leave our solar system. I sort of answered your other question in your previous one.

Imagine there are at least 2 trillion galaxies in the universe and all this matter is made up of sub atomic particles and you have to count all the particles then each time you finish counting you have to start over again and there is no end.
That's infinity.  To travel an infinite distance you would need an infinite amount of fuel and an infinite number of engines and spare parts for your vehicle to replace those as they wear out.

May I recommend the small block Chevy engine?  Very popular, you know.

You just gave me a delicious headache my friend! Thank you. 2 trillion galaxies? That's less than a googolplex, right?  Does infinite exist Kg? Another respondent said the only infinite is God. Whether one is religious or not  I'm only interested in the physics part..the science part...the provable part if such exists. I do appreciate the mental picture you provided. Of course to grasp what 2 trillion is would be very difficult. I'm really partial to googolpex for some reason and that is even difficulter to grasp but it doesn't stop me from trying. Hopefully we can chat more about this? I am a huge fan of quantum physics but I have no scientific background at all. I have tons of books on the subject all of which I have read and they are all written for the lay person. I don't always understand everything I read but I understand enough to remain forever fascinated. Because science fiction is my favorite literary genre so it's a slamduck certainty that quantum physics would be my cuppa tea.

In mathematics infinity is considered an un-natural number  which might mean it could only exist in a non-physical dimension .

I have no science background -I just read various science articles as I find them and google when I want to learn more about some particular subject.  And give stuff a lot of thought sometimes.

Newton's first Law of Motion says otherwise. Once you have a clear frictionless path you can shut down the engines. Unfortunately there is no such path according to the law of Universal Gravitation.

If infinity has no limit and is never-ending, we need never-ending fuel.  The only element that fits that bill is the soul.  The soul exists.  Infinity goes on.  The two are interchangeable.   If you drop the physical fuel, you will never run out of the spiritual eternal energy that is the source of the existence OF the universe, OF infinity.
