I have made numerous things from wood, including shelving, a picnic table, a fence, two loft beds, a workbench with a stool and a few other small projects.
EDIT: in retrospect, I now recall taking a woodworking class 35+ years ago and I made a wooden wagon for one one of my young nieces. I drafted the design myself, cut out the pieces, and put it all together using no nails - everything was made of wood. I used a braided rope to pull it and I crocheted a license plate with her name on it for the back.
