Can you only refreeze beef once?

    Yes, you can refreeze beef safely as long as it was thawed in the refrigerator and returned to the freezer within 48 hours of thawing. If the beef was thawed properly, it can be refrozen within 3–4 days. However, keep in mind that refreezing may affect the taste and consistency of the meat. Always ensure that the beef was not left out at room temperature for more than two hours to maintain safety.

    Hey Spunky..I got a little thrown at face wording. Within 48 hours of thawing? Isn't anything, especially, turkey, not even supposed to be spent over night thawing even its the package except for in the refrigerator? Why do they say that? Food quality san germs? I ate half raw burger today with chili crisp. My toaster oven caught on fire and my apartment alarm went off. I know though that just because it happens to me doesn't make it important but it's Easter! Toasters are dangerous! To see possible horrors.
