Is El Salvaldor out for immigrant deportations and Rwanda now in?

"Amid the fury over Trump’s deportations to El Salvador, the administration just deported someone to Rwanda. And no, he’s not from there.

The U.S. government is reportedly preparing to deport immigrants to Rwanda who can’t be sent back to their country of origin due to fears of prosecution.

The Handbasket newsletter reported Tuesday that a State Department cable sent from the U.S. Embassy in Rwanda’s capital, Kigali, on March 13 stated that the country would be willing to accept such people. A new cable sent Tuesday from the State Department said that a refugee from Iraq, Omar Abdulsattar Ameen, became the first person to be officially deported to Rwanda thanks to this arrangement."

    Hebrews 13:2.
If you support mass deportations quit calling yourself Christian. MAGAs are great at thumping the Bible but get real upset when you point out what it actually SAYS.

Would you be ok with all of the deported illegal aliens being sent to Australia?

The Bible does say to treat the foreigner fairly and compassionately.  It also says the foreigner is to abide by the laws.
By entering a country illegally, the foreigner chose not to abide by the country's laws.  That is not fair or compassionate to the country's citizens.   So while we are not to mistreat them, they are not to be allowed to mistreat us either.
We are obligated not to have a biased system against the foreigner over the citizen, but to have a fair and equal justice system and market place etc.  This post was edited by my2cents at April 24, 2025 6:53 PM MDT

Deportation without due process is absolutely mistreatment, as is deporting valid Green card or Visa holders. It's worth noting that RICH illegals are not being sent to a foreign prison, only poor ones. And travel advisories have been issued in many countries about vacationing in the US, particularly for POC - they're being harassed by ICE agents too.

To be deported there has to be an active deportation order.   To get that order requires a immigration judge to issue that order. That is indeed due process.

When you are allowed permission to be in a country, you must follow the laws of the country or you may loss the permission to be in that country.  The gang members are the ones being deported to the prisons.  (And yes, that will usually separate by class, I do not know of any rich MS13 members)

    Garcia admits to illegal entry.
Garcia was determined to be MS13 by police.
    Immigration judge 1.
    Immigration board.
    Immigration judge 2.
    The El Salavador government.

He has had plenty of due process.

So I assume, AU is fine with importing all these poor mistreated migrants... This post was edited by my2cents at April 25, 2025 4:39 AM MDT
