No. But in our vain worship of the almighty dollar we gladly sold it to them. Don't try to lay the blame on other countries as it's nobody's fault but our own. This country has been digging its own grave for decades now, and soon we will be in it.
We have a saying in Canada which is – Every dog has it’s day. And I think Trump is accelerating America to the end of it’s day. But it might not be too late if America can get back to its basic American dream values. Cheers!

I believe he is too. But he's not the only one to blame. While he may be the one "in charge", the people of the US also share the blame. After all, they are the ones responsible for putting him in the position he's now in, however, they also "CREATED" him. Whether we think so or not, the man is a mirror image of the majority of the American people - arrogant and corrupt, filled with lies and deceit, perverters of justice; murders overflowing with hatred and contempt, worshipers of money and power who are more than happy to exploit the poor and defenseless in order to increase their wealth.
Sure, America could change, but they don't seem willing to. They are quite content to continue wallowing in the filth of their corruption and depravity. They used to help others, but now they only help themselves, making themselves repulsive in the eyes of other nations. If they continue on their current path, their nation will fall - just like many others have before her.
