Are you one of those who cheered when ABC took Jimmy Kimmel off the air? Well, boo hoo for you. He'll be back.

Jimmy Kimmel Live" will be back on ABC beginning tomorrow night. Disney said the show was suspended "because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive. We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday."

    Well for a guy that was supposed to have no talent and poor ratings they sure got him back fast. I hope his first skit is Trump eating a big plate of crow. Cheers!

    He is still under contract they have to pay him whether he is on the air or not.....we will see if his contract gets renewed. 
    Colbert has double the ratings and makes no money.

    It was Disney/ABC who made that decision the whole time.

    The decision was made before FCC said anything.  And the FCC would be right to look at it. As lying blatantly is against the FCC rules. 

    Sinclair is not going to air Kimmel. I have not heard what Nextstar is doing. 

    I would not say there was no pressure, there was a shooting by another lunitic lefty of an ABC station over this. Actors saying they would not work, etc. This post was edited by my2cents at September 23, 2025 8:29 AM MDT
