Nope.  They've been fighting each other for thousands of years, and they'll continue to do so until the end of time.

Do you think this is the peace agreement the Bible talks about? Before the mark of the beast etc.

Biblical peace agreement???  Book, chapter, and verse, please.

There have been many so-called "peace deals" in that area throughout history.  These people have been fighting since Abraham sired them (Isaac & Ishmael) and they aren't about to stop.

I assume you're talking about verses 26-27, as the rest of the chapter is fairly self-evident - because of the wickedness of the kings and people of the then nation of Judah, God decreed that it (Jerusalem (the then capital of Judah) would lie desolate for 70 years ...which it did before being repopulated and then rebuilt (by order of King Cyrus of Persia - see the books Ezra and Nehemiah).

The Anointed One (vs 25, 26) is Jesus Christ. (vs. 26(a) was fulfilled in/around 30 AD when He was crucified)
Verses 26(b) and 27 are talking about the future destruction of Jerusalem (which took place in 70 AD... I believe by the Roman general Titus).

Therefore, this prophecy has already been fulfilled.

We disagree.  Daniel 9 has yet to be fulfilled.  The peace deal is coming in the endtimes with country of Israel. The mark of the beast is coming, the antichrist is coming. The tribulation is coming. The witnesses are coming.   The last trump of God will be sounded when our Great Savior and King returns to us.

The ceasefire likely won’t last for very long. Israel is now accusing Hamas of violating the ceasefire. So I am pretty sure that by the end of tomorrow it will be broken. And Trump will do the same thing he did with Ukraine and Russia – say he is really really mad and then do nothing. Cheers!

He has said what will happen if Hamas does not comply.  He will release to Netanyahu to completely finish the job. Israel has been holding back this is why it has taken so long.
Hamas was murdering more people, sadly, but it was not Irsaelis. It was their own.   The "religion of peace" at work. This post was edited by my2cents at October 16, 2025 4:41 AM MDT

Sounds like when he said - if Hamas does not comply he will release to Netanyahu to completely finish the job – he was given permission to Israel to wipe Hamas off the face of the earth.

If that is what he was saying - then it is no wonder he didn’t get the Peace prize. Cheers!

He did not get the Nobel because the cut off for this year was Jan 2025.  Yes, he should get it next year if they have any integrity at all. Trump ended 8 wars in 8 months, no one, no government, no PM, no Pres has ever accomplished that.

Trump was one of the 338 candidates nominated and he was on the list for the Nobel Peace Prize for 2025.

And Trump was one of the 337 candidates that didn’t win. Cheers!

And he is already nominated more than once for the 2026 award. And been awarded the highest award possible by several countries for his peace efforts.

Yes. It does. As I understand it some bodies were lost.
The governments have stated that they have entered phase 2 of the deal.  But the remains of the remaining bodies are being searched for, they are supposedly buried under rumble after the bombings. Red Cross is saying it will take time. (Yes, the Red Cross is helping in the search)
