I had a question while doing my income tax return.  I asked the AI available on my search engine.  I received a detailed answer that probably saved me 30 minutes of research.  It was important (to me) and fast.

Definitely time savers for a quick search summary.

No.  I've only used it to help me find just the right word or way of expressing a thought (quicker than thumbing through a dictionary or thesaurus).  I NEVER use AI to generate my stories, storylines, or to tell me how to write - and many times I don't even use its suggestions.

It would not really be your story then, right.

I wouldn't know how to use it.

I just type a question, just like I would ask it to a person.  I find AI answers to generally be much more informative than just answering my question.  That's OK.  I think trust is not all it should be, but maybe eventually, will be.

Most search engines give the AI summary at the top now.
My husband likes to use Grok, the AI on twitter/X.

I tried to, but it didn’t work: I asked AI to advise me on how to permanently avoid AI. Grrrrrrrr.
