We will never know if she had made it without those two last letters from Comey. That's how it is. Was it only those letters? Most likely not. A failure seldom is caused by one thing only, but it could have been the last thing on top of others. As as said, we will never know. The letters were fabricated, distributed and made public too. Any news else?
Comey was watching her back the whole time maybe for his own safety. If he had not announced reopening the leaks from the FBI would have come out fast and it would have been much worse damage to hillary. He kept balancing protecting hillary with preventing mutiny in FBI.
