I was told Kobe' is the best if you really want to be some loathsome pig who eats animals for the sake of pleasure to satisfy  an already debauched palette.   Who cares if the animal has more body fat than is comfortable for it?  Who cares what it wants?  You have the best steak that costs more than the whole country of Ethiopa can afford for food for a month.

Let's kill things for our appetite, I always say.....

Kobe beef (神戸ビーフ, Kōbe bīfu?) (KO-BEH) refers to beef from the Tajima strain of Wagyu cattle, raised in Japan's Hyogo Prefecture according to rules as set out by the Kobe Beef Marketing and Distribution Promotion Association.[1] The meat is a delicacy renowned for its flavor, tenderness, and fatty, well-marbled texture. Kobe beef can be prepared as steak, sukiyaki, shabu shabu, sashimi, and teppanyaki.

Kobe beef is also called Kobe niku (神戸肉?, "Kobe meat"), Kobe-gyu (神戸牛?) or Kobe-ushi (神戸牛?, "Kobe cattle") in Japanese.[1]

Oh I think grass fed  is better because not only does it has less fat & calories compared to grain fed but cattle is often kept in better conditions. Grain fed cows are given drugs & hormones to make them grow. Sadly sometimes grain fed cows that are moved to feedlots, live in very unsanitary conditions.

There actually is a nutritional/medical reason to prefer grass-fed beef over other (mostly grain)-fed beef.

In addition to being less fatty than grain-fed beef, grass-fed beef is higher in Omega-3 fatty acids, which have anti-inflammatory and circulatory system benefits (people buy Omega-3 in capsules, typically made from fish oil or certain seeds).

The Los Angeles Lakers (among other sports teams) try to get their players to regularly drink bone broth made from grass-fed cow bones.

There are also economic/moral reasons to prefer grass-fed beef over sticking cattle in CAFOs and feeding them whatever (mostly grain), but those are separate issues from the health benefits.

Yes.  We are buying half a cow right now that is grass fed.  It is being butchered and wrapped and should get it Thursday.  I had to buy a freezer.  I didn't plan to do this but couldn't pass it up really.  And, the cow was raised by local people using no  hormones or  antibiotics. Expensive but worth it.

Grass is better if they eat it and not smoke it.
