    Improv follows Sturgeon's Law: 90% of it is crap (because 90% of everything is crap).

    Brilliant improv can be extremely funny. The ficticious/satirical rock band Spinal Tap is bascially one long-running improv joke which has lasted (and entertained) for ***decades***.
